Invest 93L Over Florida May Become a Tropical Depression – Bringing Heavy Rain and Gusty Winds
Invest 93L – an area of low pressure just inland of Daytona Beach, has acquired organized thunderstorm activity today, and the National Hurricane Center is considering initiating advisories on a new tropical depression this afternoon. Regardless of whether this happens, the system will continue bringing tropical-like heavy rains and gusty winds to the Florida coastline, inland portions of the northern half Florida, and portions of Georgia and South Carolina over the next day or two. Significant development of this disturbance is not likely since it will remain over land.

Just read the discussion from nhc. I think if this were 200 more miles offshore, it would’ve blown up quickly.
And probably reached hurricane strength in a couple of days.
