Love the updates! Keep them coming. They definitely put my mind at ease. Think it’ll shift any more westward? Really don’t want this thing coming into Louisiana, much less any bad weather from this storm.
It seems times have changed. We go from a simple tropical wave to a tropical storm without a closed circulation and tropical depression. Why do you think the NHC is in such a hurry to name storms? No way Fred or Grace are tropical storms by definition.
I’m curious what you make of the current HWRF and NNIC intensity models. Do they normally trend on the more intense side like they currently are for Grace?

Thank you Dr Levi, thoroughly explained. We appreciate your helping us understand the possibilities and the impacts of dynamic systems.
It looks like Grace will be a Mobile, Alabama or Biloxi, Mississippi hurricane?
I found out that the Mississippi Casinos have Sportsbooks, & Kiosks where you can bet on Hurricanes, & extreme tropical based weather.
