Waiting and watching, I’m concerned about rapid intensification water temps and low sheer are ideal and could catch Florida off guard and unprepared.
I wouldn’t call us here in Florida off guard and unprepared. If you’re a Florida resident then you are fully aware of the potential destruction looming over the horizon every hurricane season and take the appropriate steps to be ready for it.
I enjoy this site, it is far more detailed than most other weather sites so I am thankful that we can draw on Levi’s hard work to make us informed and he doesn’t over emphasize the potential issues.

I don’t understand why 92L hasn’t been given a name. It has sustained winds of 45 mph which is well within the tropical storm name category. Can you please explain why the NHC hasn’t gone ahead and issues at its name.
I believe Levi stayed that it’s because there is still no defined center of circulation
The jet stream pushes the tropical storm further into the Caribbean Sea.
