After worrying about this storm all day your clear explanation really helped me understand the variance in model runs. You have an incredible gift and your videos are the only silver lining to being in the dreaded cone. Thank you for sharing, we are all grateful for you.
I have lived on the Gulf pretty much all my life…
I am have seen a few of them.
I am sure you have people in your community who have experienced a few.
Ask them. Storm doesn’t look particularly powerful and I believe storm surges historically aren’t a major issue in that part of Florida.
Just know what areas tend to flood with torrential rains.
Usually most TS you are only worried about them having huge impacts if they are stationary.
This one looks like it is somewhat of a slow mover.
Make sure all your drains are clean and clear. Even during the TS they can get debris in them and cause flooding.
Looks like a lot of dry air inclusion occurring at the NW quadrant of this on the latest IR satellite, perhaps keeping this disorganized at best.
The analysis is complete. The jet streams are most important.
