Thoughts on a potential Gulf major hurricane out of this?

We have no knowledge of the long-term track at this time. It will take a few days before things begin to become clearer.

What recording software do you use to record your videos?

Many thanks for taking the time for these vids. You are my favorite, so clear and concise. I’ll be checking you hourly (lol) from the MS Gulf Coast re 97L

Last two Euro runs pull the system N and likely OTS, because the ULL in the E by hr 120 seems to erode the Atlantic ridge more quickly than prev modeled. Looks like GFS at 12z trended that way as well. I know that ULLs and tropical systems are very diff to model in LR but for now a small trend towards a possible escape OTS soln. If this trend of a stronger and further South cut off ULL conts it will still likely affect the Islands of the Caribbean in this scenario but not the US.

The would be frontal system could play a role. Rolling dice at this point. Hoping for the best.

    Not liking the set up.

I’m not an “expert” but it seems to me this system will hit some dry air, then some land/mountain terrain and not develop much more than what it is now! Some rain, some wind and that’s about it! If it ever hits the USA, and that’s a BIG if, it won’t be much more than another brief rain event that will blow down some twigs, branches and Pine needles!

Great and precise information, am agreeing with you so far but the interference of the northern dry and dusty air mass may impact it more as it seems to be drifting south slightly. Hope the high pressure forecast north of us in Barbados will keep it south of us. Will look out for your next post.
