Julia Still Expected to Dissipate; Karl Disorganized – Long-Term Future Uncertain
Julia and Karl both look worse this morning. Julia is still expected to dissipate soon due to the aggregate effects of wind shear, though it may bring some showers to the South and North Carolina coasts tonight and tomorrow. Karl also remains sheared and disorganized, and will not strengthen substantially anytime soon. Its long-range intensity forecast remains highly uncertain, but it is not an imminent threat to land.
