It’s been almost ten years since Florida has been hit by a noteworthy hurricane, and eleven years since the “Summer of Hurricanes”. Floridians are watching the tropics with fearful anticipation of the big one hitting.
I am a little concerned about Erica living on coastal Broward County Fl. I am hoping this thing spins up quickly, stays to the right, and becomes a fish storm. I am thinking if it stays a weak tropical storm, there is a greater chance for this thing to find itself in the Bahamas. I don’t think that would be a good thing cause our waters off shore and in the gulfstream are very warm this time of year. Hurricane Andrew took full advantage of that.
