Dude, with all due respect, I’m growing pretty sick and tired of your damn disclaimer at the beginning of your videos, alright?
It’s my call to decide as to whose advice I’m gonna heed; and if I choose to side with your thoughts, over those of the NHC and NWS, then it’s my decision to do so, and not yours, understood? Just saying, Levi!
I appreciate your willingness to trust my words, but it’s not that simple. I have a responsibility to direct the public to the unified voice that best communicates and predicts the impacts and dangers of weather events, and that voice is the NWS. While I express my own opinions, viewers should know that their sometimes life-altering decisions should be informed by the best people in the business.
If I work with NWS in the future, then there will be no need for a disclaimer 🙂
Levi, having retired from the NWS, I’ve seen my fair share of disclaimers. Just a fact of CYA life. Otherwise…always enjoy hearing/seeing your take on tropical things. Another stellar analysis on your part.
The upward MJO phase is ending for the Atlantic now, and we’re likely going into a multi-week quiet period as far as the tropics go. It will probably be a while before we see our next storm.

thanks Levi. 🙂
Hi, Steph? How’s it going, AtHomeInTexas?

Otherwise, great video, as always!

Love your professional-grade updates and products, Levi.
This thing definitely walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. It even has a Bill, lol:

How about another update??
Since Bill has some circulation left after traversing half of the US, is there a chance it could regenerate in the Atlantic ?
Bill is now extratropical, and will be leaving the scene for good now. Some storms do regenerate off the eastern seaboard, but this isn’t one of them.
With all the talk of the MJO Is it possible to have something form with out the the upward motion of the MJO.?
