Thanks Levi. Yep, I’m familiar with quickly deepening storms just offshore. I got Humberto. Also got the rains and flooding in May. You’re right, not too long ago we’d have begged for a system like this. Mother Nature has her own timing. 🙂
I think this is just a rumor, but you may as well try since you are definitely far enoguh along that you don’t have anything to worry about. I wouldn’t eat more than a serving or so every few hours. Personally, I think walking is more likely to help than anything else
Concise and clear as ever, Levi. Thanks for that. I think I read that the position of the centre of the system is unclear, but that it is probably over water north of Yucatan. If that’s the case, there’s more chance of development. I think this is a tropical storm at landfall, and I wouldn’t rule out a hurricane. I’ve watched some awesome rapid developments over the years.
I don’t see a ‘statcounter’ link on your blog. They tell you how many visits you’re getting, and where they come from. I’ve got one on my (non-weather) blog. It’s fascinating seeing where your visitors are coming from.
Thanks Levi, I have been follow you since you started your tidbits. I believe you were still being home schooled in Alaska. I want to wish you well in your future studies and hope you can find time to continue tidbit post. Thanks Again Bill ((East of Galveston Tx)

Thanks Yonza. I don’t use statcounter, but I get plenty of traffic metrics. I agree they are interesting to look at.
thanks very much Levi
