Thanks for your informative videos every day.
Quick question for you, you dont see this affecting the east coast at all do you?
I live in CT and get bad anxiety anytime something forms would be nice to be able to rest my mind knowing this wont make it up here in CT.
Thanks so much for your time!
I wouldn’t worry at all about TD #9. If it were to somehow regenerate in the western Caribbean and move north, it could possibly parallel rather close to the eastern seaboard, but that’s a big if and very far down the road at this point. No worries way up in CT.
Great video, Levi. I’m not great at model interpretation but it looks like the 12Z GFS “loses” TD9 or doesn’t develop it like earlier runs. Am I seeing that right? Thanks.
Levi, thanks again for your updates during the tropical seasons! It is truly refreshing to be able to listen to someone whom truly provides an actual in-depth analysis of the tropics and be able to read/predict the patterns a week or more ahead….and described in a very simplistic way. A majority of the time you are spot on! Its a shame that a most of the meteorologists now days, especially on the cable networks, have become simple ‘weather watchers’ instead of ‘weather forecasters’….very lazy if you ask me. I look forward every day to see if there’s a new Tidbit on the tropics. You are creating a cult following and hope you continue this for years to come!
BTW what are the chances you could give an in-depth analysis on some of the big winter Noreasters? Would be facinated to hear your analysis one sometime this winter.
I have been following him for sometime now and Levi used to do a Torid Tidbits to talk about winter storms. I too wish he would return to doing them because he is so objective in his interpretation in a field riddled with subjectivity.
Thanks for the kind words. I can’t say for certain if I will discuss winter weather this year. I used to do it occasionally, but the break from the hurricane season usually comes at a good time for me anyway because school gets intense in the winter, resulting in less time for me to make videos. We’ll see though.

You are correct! The 12z run did not redevelop TD #9 significantly like previous runs.
